Instructions

  1. Wash the millet (¼ cup) then add to a pot with water or your preferred broth (4 cups)

  2. Add in dried shiitake mushrooms (2) & kabocha squash (¼) cut into 4-5 pieces

  3. Bring to a boil, skim off scum, then simmer for 30 mins, adding some water if it gets too thick

  4. Serve with a fried egg in chili oil and pickles, and a drizzle of soy sauce (2 Tbsp)
